Apnea and diuresis

Each time you practice you'll notice that apnea increases diuresis. But why? Let us explain why.
Put your body in terms of external pressure higher than atmospheric pressure triggers the reactions of adaptation including the gradual increase of blood in the pulmonary circulatory bed, which in turn causes a condition of "pulmonary hypertension".
Pulmonary hypertension is not tolerated by body that sets off a reaction to try to reverse this condition. The body during apnea is triggered to try to bring pressure to the optimum but it can not empty the lungs of blood that would otherwise collapse. Then involved other organs (kidney, heart) that secrete a hormone (peptide natridiuretico) that depletes the water of blood leading to the production of large amounts of urine.
This indirect route is activated in the kidneys of which is sequestered at a mineral in the blood is very rich: Sodium (Na +). Each sodium atom is sequestered by the kidneys that carries water to the necessity of maintaining a balance of dissolved salts. This will form a strange urine because it is a mixture of sodium and water very clear, clear and almost odorless.
The net effect is therefore to become dehydrated and go into the lack of Na +.
course this happens mostly under water, while in this area is negligible, but if we consider that often our outputs and spearfishing apnea lasting several hours, we realize the true extent of the phenomenon.

Evening Pranayama Breathing

Monday, May 17 we spent the evening at Pranayama ... unfortunately there are no photos of the evening (I had brought my camera ... too bad that the batteries were exhausted ..).
In all cases, the photos would not have made the idea of \u200b\u200bthe beautiful atmosphere in the "magic room" of the Holistic Wellness Center of Arcola.

After a brief, to the extent possible, introduction to respiratory biomechanics are now past the first phase of relaxation to be able to listen to our breath away .... and then some asana Pranayama to improve lung expansion and release tension from shoulders and column ...
treatment and last but not least .... always in pairs to improve the elasticity Chest expansion and breath!
the next few days will post new photographs and video of the exercises that we have proposed ... to who was there and it needs repairs and who was not there but still want to experience the magic of the breath " .
